Qatar says 8 hurt as Iranian missile debris lands across country

At least eight people were injured in Qatar after debris from intercepted Iranian missiles fell across the country, a spokesperson for the Interior Ministry said, according to Al Jazeera.

A law enforcement source said the incident occurred after air defence systems intercepted incoming aerial targets.

Debris landed in multiple areas, with four of the injured taken to the hospital. One person sustained serious injuries.

Qatar’s Ministry of Defence said Iran had launched 65 missiles toward the country, two of which reached a U.S. air base.

The government’s communications office reported 114 separate incidents of falling debris across Qatari territory.
