Qatar, UAE on high alert after missile, drone attacks

Qatar and the United Arab Emirates are both responding to recent attacks targeting their territories.

In Qatar, the Ministry of Defence announced that its armed forces successfully intercepted a missile strike aimed at the country, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media.

The incident followed the declaration of an “elevated” threat level after several explosions were heard over Doha.

Authorities in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, are also responding to a fire caused by a drone attack on a facility in the Ruwais industrial complex.

No casualties have been reported so far.
