Regional casualties mount as war spreads across Middle East
Al Jazeera has published an infographic summarising casualties reported across several countries during the ongoing war involving Israel and the United States against Iran as of March 11.
According to the data presented by the broadcaster, the largest number of casualties has been recorded in Iran, where 1,255 people have been killed and 12,000 injured since the start of the conflict.
In Lebanon, the reported toll stands at 570 killed and 1,444 wounded.
In Israel, 13 people have been killed and approximately 2,000 injured.
Other countries in the region have also reported casualties. In Iraq, 15 people have been killed and dozens wounded. In Jordan, 14 people have been reported injured.
According to the infographic, Kuwait has reported six deaths and dozens of injuries, while Bahrain has recorded two fatalities along with dozens of wounded.
In Saudi Arabia, two people have been killed and 12 injured. In the United Arab Emirates, six people have been killed and 122 wounded.
Meanwhile, Qatar has reported 16 injured, Oman one fatality and five wounded.
The infographic also states that eight members of the United States Armed Forces have been killed and between 140 and 150 wounded during the conflict.
