Rescuers find five bodies at scene of helicopter crash in Russia’s Khabarovsk
The bodies of five people have been reportedly found at the site of a helicopter crash in the Khabarovsk Territory, according to the Eastern Interregional Investigation Department for Transport of the Russian Investigative Committee.
"According to preliminary information, a rescue team discovered the bodies of five people at the wreckage site of the helicopter," the statement said, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
On July 14, a Mi-8 helicopter carrying three crew members and two technicians and operated by the airline Vzlyot went missing during a flight from the settlement of Okhotsk to Magadan. It failed to establish communication at the scheduled time, prompting a search involving an An-26 aircraft from Magadan and another Mi-8 from Okhotsk.
