Rubio credits Trump for Armenia-Azerbaijan breakthrough, blasts UN for inaction
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio praised President Donald Trump’s role in resolving multiple international conflicts, including the one between Armenia and Azerbaijan, while criticising the United Nations for its lack of involvement.
“He doesn’t get a lot of credit, but let’s not forget the DRC and Rwanda had a war going on — it’s the president that brokered that; Azerbaijan and Armenia — it’s the president that brokered that about, Thailand and Cambodia — it’s the president who brought the end of that about, India and Pakistan — that's just four right at the top of my head in the last few months,” Rubio said in an interview with Fox News.
“The president is the one that did that, none other leader in the world and not the UN,” he added.
