Russia attacks Kharkiv overnight, residential building damaged photo
At least eight people were injured after a drone strike hit a residential apartment building in Kharkiv overnight, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.
The agency reported that Russia carried out another attack on the city, with one of the strikes targeting a nine-story residential building.
“Last night, Russia once again attacked Kharkiv. One of the strikes hit a residential nine-story building,” the service said in a statement.
The impact caused partial destruction to the building’s internal structures, as well as damage to the balcony of an apartment located on the top floor.
Emergency response teams were deployed to the scene, including high-altitude rescue units, explosive ordnance specialists, and psychologists providing support.
