Russia blocks Armenian products through its territory – Minister Kerobyan

Armenia’s Economy Minister Vahan Kerobyan has said that Russia does not let through the products manufactured by his country.

Armenia has convened an urgent meeting within the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) due to Russia's non-acceptance of some of its cargo through the Upper Lars checkpoint, Kerobyan told a briefing, TASS reports.

"We have taken the publications by Rosselkhoznadzor and are studying them to understand to what extent the products of our businessmen do not comply with the current norms in the Russian Federation. It is strange that 35 cars are returned throughout the year, and then two days later 35 more cars are returned, while the quality of the goods does not change. We have convened an urgent meeting within the EAEU, which will be held within two days," he noted.
