Russia carries out 207-drone attack overnight, Ukrainian forces respond PHOTO
The Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that Russia carried out a large-scale drone attack on Ukraine overnight on June 10, using 207 strike UAVs, including “Shahed,” “Gerbera,” “Italmas,” “Banderol,” and decoy drones of the “Parody” type.
The air assault was repelled by aviation units, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of Ukraine’s Defence Forces.
Preliminary data as of 08:00 indicated that 181 drones were shot down or suppressed across the north, south, and east of the country. The report said that 21 strike drones hit 14 locations, while debris from downed drones fell in 13 additional areas.
“The attack is ongoing, with several Russian UAVs still in the airspace. Follow safety rules!” the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated.
