Russia delivers major strike on Ukraine’s largest oil refinery

Russian Armed Forces have struck Ukraine’s largest oil-processing facility, the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery, Russia’s Defense Ministry announced on Telegram.

The strikes were carried out using precision-guided weapons launched from land and air, as well as long-range unmanned aerial vehicles, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the ministry, the Kremenchuk refinery produced fuels and lubricants for the needs of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

The ministry added that the facility’s surviving storage tanks continue to be used to handle fuel and lubricants arriving from abroad.
