Russia extradites several individuals to Azerbaijan wanted for crimes

Russia has extradited seven individuals to Azerbaijan that had international arrest warrants issued for them.

This information was confirmed by Azerbaijan's General Prosecutor's Office, Caliber.Az reports.

All seven individuals were arrested on Russian territory and delivered to Azerbaijan, escorted by a special convoy from the latter's Penitentiary Service. 

Russia's justice authorities have extradited the following Azerbaijani citizens: Said Aliyev, Artur Orujov, Emil Aliyev, Zaur Dehghani, Nahid Safarli, Adil Mikayilli, and Elmir Mammadov.

These individuals were suspected of having committed criminal offenses in breach of Azerbaijan's criminal code and were declared internationally wanted for evading investigation.
