Russia launches 112 drones at Ukraine from several locations overnight Over 80 neutralised
On the night of September 3 to 4, Russia launched 112 kamikaze drones at Ukrainian territory from six directions.
According to the Ukrainian Air Forces' Telegram channel, most of the drones were shot down, but there were impacts in 17 locations, Caliber.Az reports.
The military said the drones were launched from Kursk, Bryansk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia), and from Hvardiiske in temporarily occupied Crimea.
The aerial assault was repelled by Ukraine’s aviation, surface-to-air missile units, electronic warfare units, drone systems, and mobile fire groups of the Defence Forces.
As of 10:00 (Baku time), Ukraine’s air defence had shot down or suppressed 84 Shahed drones and decoy UAVs across the north, east, and south of the country.
There were confirmed impacts from 28 kamikaze drones in 17 locations, and debris from downed UAVs fell in five populated areas.
