Russia launches 32 drones on Ukraine overnight from multiple directions

Russia launched a large-scale drone attack on Ukraine overnight, deploying 32 strike drones, including Shahed and Gerbera types, Ukrainian Air Forces said.

According to the the air forces, the drones were launched from multiple directions—Bryansk, Orel, and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media. 

About 20 of the drones were identified as Shaheds. In response, Ukrainian Defence Forces deployed aircraft, electronic warfare units, unmanned systems, and mobile fire groups to repel the assault.

By 9 a.m. local time, Ukraine’s air defence had shot down or suppressed 23 Russian drones targeting northern and eastern regions. However, nine drones struck eight locations, causing damage.
