Russia launches 5,000 missile strikes on Ukraine during war
Since February 2022, Russia has launched 5,000 missiles, 3,500 aviation and 1,100 drone strikes on Ukraine's territory.
The statement came from the first secretary of Ukraine's permanent mission to international organisations in Vienna, Daniil Kubai, Ukrinform reports.
"Since the beginning of the war, the Russian Federation has carried out almost 5,000 missile strikes, almost 3,500 airstrikes and almost 1,100 drone strikes. Without any military sense, Russian troops continue to implement a strategy of senseless destruction, turning entire cities into ruins and killing innocent citizens," he said.
The diplomat noted that as a result of Russia's actions, 8,231 civilians had been killed and 13,734 injured since the start of the full-scale invasion.
