Russia launches 590 strikes on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia in 24 hours
Russian forces carried out intensive attacks on settlements across Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, hitting civilian infrastructure and frontline areas with a total of 590 strikes, local authorities reported.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, said that 15 settlements came under fire, including nine targeted by airstrikes. Russian forces also deployed 332 drones of various types, mostly FPV drones, and conducted six multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) attacks. Artillery was responsible for the largest share of the bombardment, with 243 rounds fired.
According to the regional administration, 19 reports of damage to residential buildings and vehicles were registered. No civilian casualties were reported.
