Russia launched a large-scale overnight aerial assault on February 28, firing an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 133 strike unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs), Ukraine’s military said.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the drones included Shahed, Gerbera and Italmas types, as well as other models. Approximately 60 of the UAVs were identified as Shahed attack drones, Caliber.Az reports.

Preliminary data released on the morning of February 28 indicated that Ukrainian air defences shot down or electronically suppressed 96 drones across northern, southern and eastern regions of the country.
The military reported that six strike drones reached their targets, with debris from intercepted UAVs falling in seven locations.
