Russia launches hundreds of strikes on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region Homes, infrastructure damaged
Russian forces have carried out a wave of attacks on 17 settlements in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, according to local officials.
Ivan Fedorov, head of the regional administration, said more than 600 strikes were recorded, involving drones, artillery and multiple rocket launch systems, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media.
Ukraine’s authorities reported that Russia deployed around 390 drones of various types, launched six salvos from multiple rocket launchers, and carried out 202 artillery strikes.
The attacks targeted towns and villages, including Hryhorivka, Malokaterynivka, Plavni, Stepne, Huliaipole, Shcherbaky, Novodanylivka, Mala Tokmachka, Novoandriivka and Poltavka.
Officials reported 15 incidents of damage, affecting homes, vehicles, and infrastructure. No civilian casualties were recorded.
