Russia launches massive drone assault on Ukraine overnight Photo

Russia launched a major drone strike against the country during the night of January 21–22, involving a total of 94 unmanned aerial vehicles, including approximately 55 Shahed-type attack drones, Ukraine’s General Staff said. 

The Ukrainian Armed Forces said they successfully shot down or suppressed around 80 of the incoming drones, Caliber.Az reports. 

However, 10 strike drones still reached their targets, hitting 10 different locations across the country. Additionally, drone wreckage or debris was reported in four other areas.

Ukrainian officials said the assault is ongoing, with authorities continuing to monitor and respond to the attacks.
