Russia launches overnight drone attack on Odesa PHOTO
A Russian drone attack overnight on Odesa damaged residential areas, warehouse facilities, and a critical infrastructure site in the city, Ukraine’s State Emergency Service reports.
Emergency crews operated across multiple locations to contain and eliminate the aftermath of the strikes. In one district, a single-storey residential house was destroyed, triggering a fire. A drone impact was also recorded at the level of the 18th floor of an unfinished 24-storey building. In addition, a large-scale fire broke out in a warehouse facility.
“86 rescuers and 20 units of fire and rescue equipment from the State Emergency Service were involved in eliminating the consequences of this night, as well as 4 people and 1 unit of equipment from the Association of Volunteer Firefighters of Ukraine,” the service said.
