Russia launches overnight missile, drone strikes across Ukraine

Russian forces launched a large-scale overnight attack on Ukraine, firing an Iskander-M ballistic missile and waves of explosive drones, Ukraine’s Air Force said on November 4.

Thus, the strike included one Iskander-M missile fired from Russia’s Rostov region, six S-300 surface-to-air missiles from Kursk region, and around 130 attack drones — including Iranian-designed Shahed drones and other models, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

Ukraine’s air defences intercepted or neutralised 92 of the drones over northern, southern, and eastern regions of the country.

However, missile and drone strikes hit 14 locations, with confirmed impacts from six missiles and 31 drones, the Air Force said.
