Russia preparing new wave of strikes, Ukrainian official warns

Russia is preparing a new wave of strikes that could last throughout the day, Ukrainian Air Force spokesman Yurii Ihnat has warned.

During a televised marathon, he explained that Russia has currently accumulated a large number of drones, mainly not jet-powered UAVs but drones equipped with internal combustion engines, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.

“There is information that Russia may attack today from both the north and the east,” he noted.

Russia has increasingly relied on this type of strike weapon recently, with western regions of Ukraine coming under attack when weather conditions deteriorated.
