Russia says strikes hit Ukrainian targets across 148 areas
Russia’s Ministry of Defence has stated that over the past 24 hours, Russian forces carried out strikes on Ukrainian Armed Forces ammunition depots, as well as temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian units and foreign fighters across 148 areas.
The ministry said operational-tactical aviation, strike unmanned aerial vehicles, missile forces and artillery of the groupings of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation inflicted damage on ammunition depots, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
According to officials, strikes also targeted temporary deployment sites of Ukrainian armed formations and foreign mercenaries across 148 areas.
In a separate statement on its Telegram channel, the ministry added: “The Armed Forces of the Russian Federation carried out a group strike using long-range high-precision ground- and air-based weapons, as well as strike unmanned aerial vehicles, against facilities of Ukraine’s defence-industrial and fuel-energy complexes used in the interests of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.”
The objectives of the strike were reportedly achieved; all designated targets were hit.
