Russia seeks to find out weapons' transportation routes to Ukraine Ukrainian intelligence service statement
Russian agents have become more active in Eastern European countries.
They are looking for routes through which Western weapons are delivered to Ukraine, RBC-Ukraine reports with reference to the Main Intelligence Directorate of Ukraine's Defence Ministry.
According to military intelligence, Russian spies are trying to find out the transportation schemes and the number of weapons that are being transferred to Ukraine. Therefore, the Russian military attaches in the EU countries received an order to start recruiting through closed channels.
The special services of the Russian Federation are trying to involve the police and people involved in the transportation of weapons. In the regions bordering Ukraine, agents want to use representatives of local communities and pro-Russian activists.
However, Ukrainian intelligence notes that the Europeans are not inclined to help Russia, therefore, having received offers, they turn to the police and security agencies.
