Russia strikes four Ukrainian TPPs, causing fires, power outages
On the night of October 29 and October 30 morning, Russia attacked Ukraine with missiles and drones, particularly striking four Ukrainian thermal power plants.
The strikes were launched on Dobrotvirska Thermal Power Plant in the Lviv region, the Burshtyn and Kalush Thermal Power Plants in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, and the Ladyzhynska Thermal Power Plant in the Vinnytsia region, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media.
Ihor Zinkevych, a member of the Lviv City Council, reported on his Telegram channel that the Dobrotvorska TPP in the Lviv region was attacked on the night of October 29 to 30. The attack resulted in a fire and damage to critical energy infrastructure facilities.
Besides, in many cities, emergency power outages and scheduled hourly electricity shutdowns have reportedly been implemented.
