Russia strikes fourth Ukrainian pharmaceutical warehouse in September VIDEO

14 September 2026 12:10

Russian forces have struck a medicines warehouse belonging to Ukrainian pharmaceutical distributor BaDM on the outskirts of Odesa, according to ASTRA, citing sources from Ukraine’s pharmaceutical market who spoke to Ekonomicheskaya Pravda.

The warehouse, located in the Khadzhibey district, is the fourth pharmaceutical storage facility in Ukraine reportedly targeted by Russian forces in September.

On September 13, Russian forces struck a warehouse operated by Universal Logistic in the Boryspil district of the Kyiv region. The facility is described as Ukraine’s second-largest medicines warehouse.

On September 8, Russian forces reportedly fired two missiles at the already destroyed warehouse of Optima-Farm, one of Ukraine’s largest pharmaceutical distributors, in Kyiv.

Earlier, on September 3, a Russian strike hit the Biokon logistics complex, described as Ukraine’s second-largest pharmaceutical warehouse. The facility stored products from Western pharmaceutical companies, including Pfizer, Novartis, Roche, Teva and AstraZeneca.

According to the company, the Biokon complex, which covers 45,000 square metres, has ceased operations entirely.

That same night, a Teva warehouse and one of the World Health Organization’s main humanitarian warehouses were also damaged.
