Russia strikes Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia, killing one, injuring five PHOTO / VIDEO / UPDATED
As a result of attacks on Zaporizhzhia, as well as the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts, a 46-year-old man was killed.
Women aged 43, 49, 61, 87, and 91 were injured. Dozens of settlements in the region came under strikes over the course of a day, the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, said on Telegram, per Caliber.Az.
A total of 608 strikes were recorded in 25 settlements across the Zaporizhzhia region within 24 hours.
He noted that 22 reports were received regarding damage to residential houses, outbuildings, vehicles, and infrastructure facilities.
It is reported that Russian forces carried out 15 airstrikes, more than 350 drone attacks, five rocket launcher strikes, and over 230 artillery strikes on various settlements in the region.

Russian forces attacked the Ukrainian Zaporizhzhia region, damaging an industrial infrastructure facility, according to local authorities.
Zaporizhzhia Governor Ivan Fedorov said on Telegram that a woman sought medical assistance, per Caliber.Az.
He added that the 43-year-old victim was taken to the hospital by medics with a preliminary diagnosis of shrapnel wounds.
