Russia testing pigeons for traces of "biological terrorism"

In the Russian city of Belgorod, specialists fighting animal diseases have taken samples from pigeons after receiving a call from a local resident who suspected the birds of being involved in a possible "biological terrorism" attack.
As the Russian Podyem agency reported, the chief state veterinarian of the region, Artem Medvedev stated, that samples of the suspicious bird were sent for further testing and results will be available soon.
Caliber.Az recalls, that Russian officials had made public accusations against Ukraine of using biological weapons shortly after the military conflict began in February 2022, claiming that they intend to use them against Russians by spreading diseases through animals, including birds.
