Russia unleashes 175-munitions air assault across Ukraine overnight Photo
Ukraine said Russia launched a large-scale aerial assault overnight on May 5, firing ballistic missiles and dozens of drones across multiple regions of the country.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine said that the attack included 11 Iskander-M ballistic missiles, as well as 164 attack unmanned aerial vehicles of various types, including Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas drones, Caliber.Az reports.

According to preliminary data released at 9:00 a.m. local time, Ukrainian air defence forces shot down or neutralised 1 ballistic missile and 149 drones across the north, south, east, and central regions of the country.
The military said eight ballistic missiles and 14 drones struck 14 locations. Debris from intercepted missiles and drones was also found at 10 additional sites.
Officials added that two ballistic missiles did not reach their intended targets, and investigations into their trajectories and impact sites are ongoing.
