Russia unleashes 771 strikes on Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia, 19 injured photo / video

Russian forces carried out large-scale attacks on Zaporizhzhia and the wider Zaporizhzhia region, leaving 19 people injured.

The information was reported by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional State Administration, Ivan Fedorov, on his Telegram channel. He stated that within the past 24 hours alone, Russian forces conducted 771 strikes across 21 settlements in the region.

According to Fedorov, Russian troops launched 21 airstrikes targeting Novoyakovlivka, Huliaypole, Orikhiv, Vozdvyzhivka, and Bilohirya. In addition, the region recorded 478 drone attacks of various types, predominantly FPV drones. The following settlements came under attack: Zaporizhzhia, Kushuhum, Balabyne, Yurkovka, Stepnohirsk, Stepove, Prymorske, Huliaypole, Shcherbaky, Novodanilivka, Novoandriivka, Mala Tokmachka, Charivne, Bilohirya, Zelenyi Hai, Yablukove, and Zatyshche.

Russian forces also launched eight strikes using multiple launch rocket systems against Barvinivka, Huliaypole, Zatyshche, and Zelenyi Hai, along with 264 artillery strikes across several communities in the region. In total, authorities recorded 78 reports of damage to residential buildings, equipment, and critical infrastructure.

Fedorov emphasised that residents will not be left to face the aftermath of the attacks alone, assuring that everyone affected will receive the necessary assistance.
