Russia unleashes massive aerial strike on Ukraine, 650+ targets intercepted PHOTO

On the night of May 14, Russia carried out a large-scale combined strike against Ukraine using strike drones and air- and ground-launched missiles, the Ukrainian Armed Forces announced.

According to the statement, the main direction of the attack was Kyiv.

In total, Ukrainian radar units tracked and monitored 731 aerial threats, including 56 missiles and 675 drones:

• 3 Kh-47 “Kinzhal” aeroballistic missiles

• 18 Iskander-M/S-400 ballistic missiles

• 35 Kh-101 cruise missiles

• 675 strike UAVs, including “Shahed”, “Gerbera”, “Italmas” loitering munitions, “Banderol” drones (2 units), and “Parody” decoy drones

Air defences, aviation units, anti-aircraft missile forces, electronic warfare units, and mobile fire groups were involved in repelling the attack.

As of 08:00, preliminary data indicated that 693 targets were shot down or suppressed, including 41 missiles and 652 drones of various types.

Ukrainian authorities reported impacts at 24 locations, including 15 missile strikes and 23 drone hits, as well as debris from downed UAVs falling at 18 additional sites.

Officials added that the attack was still ongoing, with new groups of strike drones entering Ukrainian airspace.
