Russian attack destroys warehouse of Ukraine’s First Lady’s foundation PHOTO

A Russian attack on Kyiv on September 16 completely destroyed a warehouse belonging to the foundation of Ukraine’s First Lady, Olena Zelenska, where humanitarian aid for children, families, hospitals and educational institutions across various regions of Ukraine was stored, the foundation said on Facebook.

According to the foundation, generators, household appliances, laptops, tablets, e-readers and medical equipment were destroyed in the strike.

Representatives of the foundation said the aid had been intended for specific recipients in line with their needs. The destruction of the warehouse could delay some of the planned deliveries.

The foundation’s team is already reorganising its logistics to resume deliveries of essential aid as soon as possible.

“The most important thing is that no people were injured,” the foundation noted.

Zelenska’s representatives also thanked the State Emergency Service of Ukraine rescuers who worked at the site for their prompt response and professionalism.

Also on September 16, a Russian drone attack destroyed a warehouse in Kyiv where props belonging to the Kvartal 95 studio were stored. The strike destroyed numerous sets, costumes and other items that had been used in the studio’s concerts, shows, films and television series over the past 20 years.
