Russian attack on Kryvyi Rih wounds woman, hits key infrastructure video
Russian forces carried out an attack on the city of Kryvyi Rih during a recent air raid alert, striking an administrative building as well as a critical infrastructure facility, according to local authorities.
Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defence Council, said the strike caused a fire at the site, where emergency and rescue teams are continuing their response operations.
A 41-year-old woman was injured in the attack, suffering a chest wound. She has been taken into surgery, and doctors are currently fighting to save her life.
Vilkul also reported that the attack involved Shahed-type drones, which caused damage to a high-voltage cable connected to one of the city’s electrical substations, potentially affecting local power infrastructure.
The full extent of the damage is still being assessed as emergency services remain on the scene.
