Russian attack on Odesa kills one, injures three PHOTO

One person was killed and three others injured in a Russian attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa, according to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service.

The agency said a piece of civilian infrastructure in the city was damaged in the strike, triggering a fire at the scene. Emergency crews later brought the blaze under control, Caliber.Az reports. 

“Unfortunately, despite the efforts of rescuers and medics who tried to resuscitate the man, they were unable to save him,” the State Emergency Service said in a statement, adding that three other people were injured according to preliminary information.

The agency said 21 rescuers and six units of equipment were deployed to deal with the aftermath of the attack.
