Russian attacks damage homes and infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia Over 800 strikes during past day
At least 10 people were injured in a series of Russian strikes targeting Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, according to regional authorities.
The head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov, said Russian forces carried out a total of 816 strikes across 46 settlements during that period.
“Over the course of a day, Russians carried out 816 strikes on 46 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. (…) Infrastructure facilities, vehicles, and private homes were damaged. Fires broke out and have already been contained. According to preliminary data, one injured man is known,” Fedorov said.
The attacks caused damage to infrastructure, private homes, and vehicles, with multiple fires reported. Emergency services have since localised the fires.
Authorities confirmed that 10 people were injured in the strikes. Preliminary information cited by Fedorov earlier indicated at least one injured man.
