Russian attacks hit 34 Kharkiv settlements over past week, killing five civilians PHOTO
Over the past week, Russian army attacks affected at least 34 settlements in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region, including the city of Kharkiv, injuring 33 people, among them a 9-month-old girl, and killing five civilians.
Kharkiv regional governor Oleh Syniehubov wrote on Telegram that Russian forces employed a range of weapons, including two rockets (type unspecified), Tornado-S multiple rocket launchers, 10 guided aerial bombs, 12 Geran-2 drones, 5 Lancet drones, 11 Molniya drones, 14 FPV drones, and 58 other UAVs, Caliber.Az reports
According to the governor, the Kupiansk district suffered the heaviest damage, with 11 private homes, one enterprise, three vehicles, outbuildings, and garages affected. In the Bohodukhiv district, 12 private homes, one outbuilding, a vehicle, and power lines were damaged. In Kharkiv city itself, 11 apartment buildings, 3 private homes, 2 garages, vehicles, and electrical networks were damaged.
Emergency services neutralised 261 enemy munitions, and 1,230 combat encounters were recorded along the front line.
