The Russian army carried out attacks on two districts in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk region, resulting in the death of a 12-year-old boy, authorities said.
Vladyslav Haivanenko, head of the regional military administration, reported that Russian forces struck the Vasylkivka community in Synelnykove district using a drone.
“A 12-year-old boy was killed. A 37-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were injured and have already received the necessary medical assistance. The attack caused a fire, destroyed one private house, and damaged another,” Haivanenko said.
Additional shelling affected the Nikopol, Marhanets, and Pokrov communities. A 70-year-old local resident was injured. The assaults damaged two private homes and five apartment buildings, and a car was destroyed.
Earlier reports indicated that in Kherson, a 6-year-old girl was killed during a Russian attack. She suffered severe injuries and could not be saved despite medical efforts.
