Russian attacks on Zaporizhzhia leave damage, injured after nearly 800 strikes photo / video
Russian forces carried out nearly 800 attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region over the past 24 hours, leaving several civilians injured, according to the head of the Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
Fedorov reported that A 67-year-old man and two women aged 48 and 57 were wounded as a result of strikes on the regional capital and the Zaporizhzhia district.
In total, 799 attacks were recorded across 33 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia region. The Russian military conducted 14 air strikes, launched 493 drone attacks of various types — mainly FPV drones — carried out seven strikes using multiple launch rocket systems, and fired 285 artillery rounds.
Authorities received 132 reports of damage to homes and infrastructure facilities.
Images and videos released show the consequences of a Russian strike on a multi-story residential building in one of Zaporizhzhia’s residential neighbourhoods, where windows were shattered and balconies damaged.
