A Russian DJ has been detained in Thailand after police allegedly found illegal drugs in his possession.
The suspect, identified as Anton Petukhov, a DJ originally from Barnaul in Russia, was stopped by local law enforcement while driving under the influence of drugs, Caliber.Az reports via Basa Telegram channel.
During a subsequent search on the island of Ko Pha Ngan, officers reportedly discovered more than 130 grams of illegal substances.

Among the seized items was a synthetic drug that Thai law enforcement had not previously encountered.
Petukhov has lived in Thailand since 2012, working as a DJ. Police allege that his profession served as a cover for drug trafficking. According to investigators, he allegedly used nightlife venues to find clients and then provided instructions on how to locate hidden drug stashes.
