Russian drone crashes, explodes in Moldova during attack on Ukraine's Odesa PHOTO

A Russian Shahed-type drone entered Moldovan airspace during an overnight attack on Ukraine's Odesa region before crashing and exploding in southeastern Moldova.

The drone came down near the village of Copanca in the Căușeni district at around 1 a.m. local time. The impact triggered an explosion and a fire, Ukrainian media reports.

No injuries were reported in the incident. Authorities have not released further details.
