Russian drone strike hits military facility in Odesa
Russian forces launched a drone attack on the southern Ukrainian city of Odesa on the morning of July 11, striking a building belonging to the Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support (TCR and SS), according to official reports.
The strike was carried out using Iranian-made Shahed drones, part of a broader wave of aerial assaults targeting Ukrainian territory, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media.
"Russia struck the TCR building in Odesa with a Shahed drone," the statement said.
The full extent of the damage and any possible casualties have not yet been confirmed, as emergency services continue to assess the situation.
The attack came amid renewed drone activity observed over the Black Sea. The Ukrainian Air Force had earlier reported a group of strike UAVs advancing toward Odesa, prompting the activation of air defense systems across the region.
Shortly after the alert, multiple explosions were heard across the city, with residents reporting intense drone activity. Local officials have confirmed that Odesa remains under ongoing threat from unmanned aerial assaults.
