Russian drones attack passenger train in Zaporizhzhia region

Russian drones attacked a passenger train and its locomotive in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, the national railway operator Ukrzaliznytsia said on July 18.

The company said all passengers, as well as locomotive and train crews, were evacuated in a timely manner following the incident.

“People are in shelters and will be transported to Zaporizhzhia by buses arranged with the оперативное assistance of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration (OVA),” the statement said.

According to preliminary information, no casualties were reported.
