Russian drones hit multiple gas stations in Kharkiv

Russian drone strikes targeted multiple civilian sites in Kharkiv on May 2, hitting fuel infrastructure and residential areas within a short span of time, local authorities said.

At least four gas stations were attacked during the afternoon, according to Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov, as cited by Ukrainian media and reported by Caliber.Az.

The strikes occurred in rapid succession, with four gas stations hit in under 30 minutes across the Kholodnohirskyi, Osnovianskyi, Novobavarskyi, and Kyivskyi districts, Terekhov said.

In addition to the attacks on fuel facilities, a drone also struck a residential building in the Shevchenkivskyi district, raising concerns about civilian safety.

Authorities later confirmed that a 62-year-old man was injured in the Kholodnohirskyi district as a result of the shelling.

Three other civilians were reported to have suffered severe stress following the attacks, including a 61-year-old man and two women aged 38 and 48.
