Russian forces strike shopping centre in Sumy, Ukraine
A shopping centre in central Sumy, Ukraine, has reportedly been hit by a Russian strike.
The strike targeted the Manufaktura shopping centre, which had been closed following yesterday’s attack, Caliber.Az reports, citing Ukrainian media.
Details of the consequences are being clarified.
Earlier, Russian forces attacked a food-processing facility in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, killing two and injuring five others, including a child.
Local Telegram channels reported that the target was the Oleina oil extraction plant, which produces sunflower oil under the Oleina brand.
The facility, known as the Dnipro Oil Extraction Plant, is part of US-based agribusiness company Bunge.
The company has operated the plant since acquiring it through its corporate structure, and the facility produces Oleina sunflower oil.
