As many as 22 people were injured in Ukraine's Odesa following a massive Russian drone attack on the city over the night of January 26 to 27, the head of the city's military administration, Serhiy Lysak, said on Telegram.
“During the shelling, infrastructure facilities, residential buildings, a kindergarten, a store, and a construction site were damaged. Twenty-two people were injured, including 14 with minor injuries who received medical assistance on the spot,” Caliber.Az quotes him as saying.
Earlier, Lysak also reported damage to a church in the city centre, while the most difficult situation was in the Khadzhibey district, where part of a residential building was destroyed.
“All emergency services have been working at the impact sites since the early hours. Operational headquarters have been deployed. People are receiving all necessary assistance. Municipal service workers are eliminating the consequences of the attack,” he emphasised.
