Russian missiles strike Ukraine’s Kryvyi Rih

Russian forces struck Kryvyi Rih with ballistic missiles on January 8, targeting high-rise buildings, according to Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the city’s Defence Council.

Vilkul said on Telegram that two Iskander ballistic missiles were used in the attack, Caliber.Az reports via Ukrainian media.

“Help is being provided to the victims. We all understand, we are all working,” he added.

No further details about casualties or damage were released by city authorities.

Vilkul reported that the missile strike occurred at 17:01 local time.

Earlier in the day, Vilkul also confirmed that Russian forces struck an industrial facility in Kryvyi Rih.
