Russian attacks across Ukraine kill four, injure 12, Zelenskyy says PHOTO

Russian forces launched attacks on several regions of Ukraine overnight, killing four people and injuring 12 others, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has stated.

Sharing a post on Telegram, he said two people were killed in Odesa as a result of Russia's overnight missile strike on a residential building and another five people were injured, including three children, Caliber.Az reports.

“All those affected are receiving the necessary medical assistance. My condolences to their families and loved ones,” he noted.

According to him, fifteen drones were used against the Sumy region, where one person was injured, while residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, including a library, were damaged.

"Our other regions also came under attack. In the Zaporizhzhia region, two people were killed, and another five were injured as a result of an airstrike. In the Kharkiv region, three people were wounded in shelling. One person was injured in the Chernihiv region. The Kherson, Donetsk and Dnipropetrovsk regions also came under attack,” he added.

In his words, in total, Russia launched more than 130 attack drones and eight missiles against Ukraine overnight.

"It is important that every state institution and everyone involved in negotiations with partners on supporting Ukraine's defence and resilience act with maximum speed and efficiency. The implementation of everything agreed at the leaders' level must be accelerated. Every defence package today is not merely a figure on paper, but concrete resources that protect lives here in Ukraine every day,” Zelenskyy stressed.

"I thank everyone who is working in this way and all our partners who continue to support Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote on his Telegram channel.
