Russian strike hits garage cooperative, sparks fire in Sumy Photo

Emergency services in Ukraine’s Sumy region have extinguished a fire caused by a Russian strike on the city of Hlukhiv, authorities said.

According to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service, the attack took place late on May 12 when Russian forces struck Hlukhiv, triggering a fire at the site of a garage cooperative, Caliber.Az reports.

Rescue workers said the blaze posed a risk of spreading but was brought fully under control after emergency crews extinguished all sources of fire.

Preliminary reports indicate that no injuries were recorded in the incident, the agency added.
