Russian strike on energy facilities in Zaporizhzhia injures two Video
Russian forces have carried out another attack targeting energy infrastructure in Ukraine’s Zaporizhzhia region, causing damage to equipment and leaving a large number of consumers without electricity, Ukrainian authorities said.
According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Energy, the strike injured two female employees of the affected energy company. Both were evacuated from the site and taken to hospital for treatment, Caliber.Az reports.
One of the women sustained burns to her face, hands, and head. Doctors said her injuries are not life-threatening. The second employee is in more serious condition, having suffered burns and a concussion. She was reported to be unconscious at the time she was transported to hospital.
Ukrainian officials did not immediately provide further details on the scale of the outages or the type of weapons used in the attack.
