On the night of January 27 to 28, Russian armed forces struck the Bilohorodka village in Ukraine’s Kyiv region, killing two civilians, the head of the region's state administration, Mykola Kalashnyk, said.
"Today, the enemy struck at civilians again. In the Bilhorodka community, two of our compatriots — a man and a woman — died as a result of the attack," Caliber.Az quotes Kalashnyk as saying on Telegram.
He also said that three more people sought medical help after being psychologically impacted by the attack: "A young woman and two children] suffered an acute stress reaction."
Kalashnyk added that another man was poisoned by combustion products. "All victims were promptly provided with the necessary assistance on the spot."
"Psychologists are working with the people, and doctors continue to be on duty. The fire in the apartment building has been localised. The enemy is cynically hitting peaceful homes," he added.
Simultaneously, Russian forces attacked the Holosiivskyi district of Kyiv city. The strike hit the end of a 17-story residential building, causing minor damage to the roof and the technical floor walls. Windows on the upper floors were damaged, and nearby parked cars were also affected, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine said.
