Russian strikes kill and injure civilians across Ukraine overnight PHOTO / VIDEO

Russian forces launched attacks on several regions of Ukraine overnight on August 6, killing and injuring civilians and damaging residential buildings and civilian infrastructure, according to Ukraine's State Emergency Service and regional military administration officials.

The State Emergency Service said guided aerial bombs struck civilian infrastructure and apartment buildings in Sumy, leaving ten people injured, Caliber.Az reports.

In the Kharkiv region, three people were killed in a drone attack on the city of Balakliia, according to the head of the regional military administration. Fires broke out in two residential buildings, while nearby houses were also damaged.

In Zaporizhzhia, a strike hit a residential apartment building, regional military administration head Ivan Fedorov said. Four people were injured. The Zaporizhzhia district also came under attack.

In the Kherson region, a Russian FPV drone targeted a bus carrying agricultural workers to fields in the village of Komyshany, the regional military administration reported. Six people sustained blast injuries and concussions as a result of the attack. The injured were hospitalised.
