Russian strikes on Ukraine’s Sumy region leave one dead, 15 injured PHOTO
One person has been killed and 15 others injured in Russian attacks on Ukraine’s Sumy region over the past 24 hours, according to the National Police of Ukraine.
In a statement, police said they are documenting the aftermath of the shelling, noting that Russian forces continued strikes across the region.
“Over the past day, Russian forces continued to shell the territory of the Sumy region. In the Konotop community, one person was killed, and 12 civilians were injured as a result of the attack. In the Shostka community, one civilian was injured. In the Buryn community, two civilians were injured due to enemy strikes. Investigative and operational police teams, along with other relevant services, worked at the scene,” the statement said.
